Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) resins from ExxonMobil Chemical offer balanced toughness and stiffness. ExxonMobil Chemical LLDPE resin products are suitable for multiple processing methods, encouraging innovation in film and molding applications.
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resins are used to produce a range of general-purpose and high-performance applications, which include blown and cast film, extrusion and coating, and rotational and injection molding.
- High melt strength
- Excellent optical properties
- Outstanding shrink performance
Delivering a balance of toughness, stiffness, environmental stress crack resistance (ESCR), and processability, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins are well-suited for a range of rigid applications like IBCs and storage tanks; crates and pallets; pails and lids; automotive components; bottles and caps; toys and water sports equipment. HDPE resins also widely used in extrusion film applications like grocery, garbage, and freezer bags because they offer stiffness and toughness.
We have more than 25 grades of ExxonMobil™ ICP PP resins, offering various levels of stiffness and impact strength properties. Our easy-to-process, low-density grades are ideal for high impact injection molded parts, thermoforming and extrusion. ExxonMobil ICP PP resins are also well-suited for demanding automotive, appliance and industrial applications.
ExxonMobil homopolymer PP offers Translucent, crystalline propylene polymers that offer excellent heat and chemical resistance, hPP maintains good stiffness performance. Our easy-to-process grades are available for injection and compression molding, film and fiber extrusion, and thermoforming. They offer proven performance across a wide range of applications.
Exhibiting improved optical properties, impact resistance and flexibility compared to hPP, RCP is ideal for many consumer, medical and film applications. Our easy-to-process grades are available for injection molding, blow molding, sheet/film and thermoforming.
